Overall Responsibility
The Operations Administrative Coordinator ensures that all administrative functions related to Red Door Family Shelter’s client services/shelter operation are carried out and maintained effectively and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide direct administrative support to the Director of Client Services
- Support shelters operations through documentation management, client service coordination, and program administration
- Assist in planning, coordination and execution of projects and operational initiatives
- Implement and maintain systems and automation tools to improve service delivery and internal workflow
- Maintain, update and analyze statistical tracking tools to support program monitoring and evaluation
- Coordinate meetings, seminars, workshops, special projects and events as assigned
- Conduct research and prepare reports, summaries and documentation as needed
- Assist with managing in-kind donations including inventory tracking and distribution
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in office management/administrative processes.
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience preferably in non-profit organizations.
- High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (WORD, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Good experience and knowledge of working on databases
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated successful experience working effectively on diverse teams.
- Sound judgment with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a level of attention to detail.
- Superior coordination and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 35 lbs as required.

Salary: $58,054.73 – $63,437.97
